On a night out with friends, Eric tries a new restaurant that takes the dining experience full circle. Set in a not-so-distant dark future, "Casa de Carne" is a thought-provoking short film about hard choices and hidden truths.

Dustin Brown is an award-winning director & screenwriter with a passion for telling character-driven, socially conscious stories. He is a graduate of the American Film Institute Directing Program. His short film SOLIDARITY was a Cannes/BAFTA/Clermont-Ferrand Official Selection and won numerous awards including Best Short Film at the San Diego Film Festival and winner of the Kodak Student Film Scholarship. His AFI thesis film CLARITY received the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Award and was featured by Film Independent. Dustin has worked with many non-profit organizations including Last Chance for Animals where he wrote, directed, and edited several award-winning PSAs including “Casa de Carne” which went viral receiving over 2 millions views. Currently, he is in production on a documentary feature on the animal rights movement and in development on the narrative feature SOLIDARITY, which was shortlisted for the 2018 Sundance Screenwriters Lab.
